The VP, Programming Data Analytics and Modeling is responsible for all strategic planning and objectives of advanced financial modelling of the Programming Organization. Direct responsibility for compliance and Line-Up analytics, Pricing and Packaging and Subscriber loss modelling. Oversees the development and maintenance of the monthly dashboard and all applicable financial reporting systems and programs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Directs the creation of financial models to evaluate deal/contract economics.

Works with the organization Finance team to determine appropriate reporting and enhancement.

Oversees the data collection and compliance reporting in support of Contract Management and Compliance.

Collaborates with Programming Leadership of financial systems to ensure information required for management reporting is accurate and drive resolution of any issues.

Directs all activities in the creation and maintenance of the LRP tool, subscriber loss evaluation models and line-up analytics.

Partners with Programming Leaders and the Finance Operations teams to evaluate the attainment of the organization’s goals and objectives.

Managers the creation of models to evaluate pricing and packaging scenarios with service level variability and penetration assumptions.

Reviews and approves a monthly dashboard that includes key metrics information.

Proactively analyzes, interprets, and uses collected data and information to identify opportunities and ideas to increase revenue, profitability, and/or workflow efficiencies.

Identifies, drives, and governs necessary financial reporting changes resulting from various business and industry changes, including business structure.

Attracts and retains highly effective management and supervisory staff through mentoring, coaching, development, appraisal and motivation techniques.

Oversees a team to meet business timely deliverables, and fosters a customer centric culture focused on supporting the needs of internal customers.

Fosters a culture of consistency, accountability and continuous improvement.

Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Knowledge of cable television products and services preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience

CFA or Master’s preferred
