Experience Designer IoT Experiences Team, Intel Corporation, Internet of Things Group IoT Experiences is an eclectic team of user experience architects, designers, and researchers within Intel's Internet of Things Group. We unearth and shed light on the mysteries (and the straight forward stuff) of the human experience in the context of a broad range of market spaces – including homes, buildings, transportation, industrial manufacturing and beyond. We're looking for a Fantastic Experience Designer, and an Awesome Teammate. One of our key priorities is to ensure that Intel's Internet of Things (IoT) platforms deliver a fantastic developer experience. To that end, we are looking for an Experience Designer who can design industry-leading experiences for IoT developers to understand, integrate effectively utilize Intel's security capabilities. Working with a UX Architect, the Experience Designer will be responsible for designing all aspects of the developer experience, including out-of-box experience, web portal, dev environment, online support tools, and other collateral. The Experience Designer will work in conjunction with hardware and software engineering development teams, branding, and marketing teammates; providing them with tangible design direction and design assets to guide and enable development. In this job, you will: Collaborate with design and research team members to synthesize research insights into design implications/requirements Architect developer experience interactions across all touch points in the developers' workflow Explore, develop, and visualize interaction and interface concepts through wireframes, storyboards, or other dynamic media Create interactive walkthroughs and experiential prototypes for user evaluation and assessment DIV styleMARGIN-BOTTOM: 0px; MARGIN-TO
Ballpark Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters in UX Design, Interaction Design or related discipline 5 years demonstrated practical design experience on a variety of products and platforms Willingness to take calculated risks and stretch to achieve ambitious goalsStrong analytical and logical problem-solving skills paired with creativityStrong influencing skills with a range of business partners inside and outside Intel Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills High tolerance for a dynamic work environment with rapidly changing priorities Willingness and ability to travel (10-20%) Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. Extra Goodness if You Have: Knowledge of software development tools, processes, and practices at all levels of a solution stack Experience working with security hardware and/or software solutions
