As a Technical Account Manager, you will join a dynamic team focused on winning designs in a market which is tightly aligned with Intel's growth strategy for the virtuous cycle of computing. This is a commissioned sales role in Intel's Regional Sales Group (RSG)and is responsible for managing the technical relationship between Intel and DC-area OEMs developers. The ideal candidate will: Enable a diverse set of OEMs and platform developers who serve Military, Industrial, networking, and other key segments. Understand their solution requirements, and influence both Intel and the customers to align strategies solutions which maximize the inclusion of Intel ingredients. Manage all technical elements of the customer engagement and influence the inclusion of Intel ingredients into customer designs and solutions. Work with your RSG sales counterpart and resources from Intel's Business Units to align strategies and identify optimal Intel products that meet the solution requirements. Achieve short-term and strategic sales goals. Success is measured by meeting or exceeding assigned annual billings, design win quotas, and strategic milestones.
BSEE, BSCS or equivalent 5+ years strategic technical sales or customer facing experience with an established track record of exceeding plan over multiple years Experience enabling server-based solutions and/or IOT MCU/MPU-based platforms. Working knowledge of Linux fundamentals. Demonstrated capacity to qualify and develop new accounts as a trusted advisor. A passion for technology and innovation GROWTH that inspires customers and fellow team members ADDITIONAL PREFERRED CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS: MSEE or MBA. Direct experience with Intel or other computer architectures as applied to military, industrial/IOT, and/or datacenter infrastructure applications.
