You will be a beacon of consumer insights and delivery excellence in Verizon’s Consumer IoT team. Success looks like delivery of delightful integrated experiences delivered via hardware and software. Overall responsibilities include product definition and execution of the commercialization plans with the product technology and go-to-market teams. You will play a lead role in identifying new business and product opportunities for Verizon, crafting compelling experiences and value proposition using voice of the customer tools, evangelizing across the organizing and leading the charge for delivery excellence.
Specific responsibilities include:
Leverage appropriate innovation frameworks to identify potential insights and areas of opportunity.
Lead concept creation, testing and refinement.
Partner with UX to create compelling experience strategies.
Collaborate with the product technology team to build, partner, or acquire the necessary solution(s).
Design and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy, collaborate with branding and go-to-market teams to deliver vision.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in defining, developing and launching consumer experiences.
Experience defining and launching new to world software features or innovative hardware products.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
A Master’s degree.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall environments, and managing both in a single project.
Understanding of IoT platforms and network topography.
Innovative thinker with experience in a rapidly transforming environment.
A desire to innovate, an entrepreneurial mind-set with a healthy disregard for the impossible.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
