Fairview Health Services/Minnesota Health is looking to fill a full-time position to serve as a Senior Data Analyst within the Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Informatics Services for Research and Reporting (ISR2) Team.
This Senior Data Analyst position is responsible for advanced data analysis and reporting as well as review, assessment, validation and development of data management processes to support Fairview’s health initiatives, primarily focused in the area of Solid Organ Transplant. This role will work in a team environment to design, development, and execution of data transformation into information that is actionable. This role is key to supporting system and network level clinical, financial and research performance. The Senior Analyst will ensure state-of-the-art quality and population-focused analysis and reporting on quality, risk, utilization, cost and clinical measures through the use of, but not limited to, regulatory specifications, benchmarking, trending, opportunity analysis and predictive modeling.
Accountable for defining requirements, data validation, and supervision of report development to support SOT operations, research and external data submissions.
Participates in discussions with SOT care teams, researchers and leadership to design analytic reports for quality reporting and population health management using electronic medical record data and other data sources.
Work directly with the ETL Developers, Report Writers and/or Informaticists to create data driven reporting that is meaningful and actionable for the Fairview enterprise, and affiliated networks.
Identifies and integrates relevant internal and external benchmarking information considering clinical, technical, and financial perspectives.
Creates written narrative summaries that outline project purpose, methodology, summary of findings, trends of interest, and opportunities for consideration.

Bachelor’s degree in computer, analytical or clinical field
7-10 years of previous, advanced computer, analytical or clinical experience
Results-oriented, strong collaboration, problem solving and negotiation skills
Handles sensitive and confidential information, regularly exercises discretion and judgment.
Ability to think strategically, analyze issues and develop recommendations.
SQL/Database query experience.
Strong quantitative and analytic skills.
Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to address problems.
Ability to write and present reports and presentations
Master’s degree in computer, analytical; or clinical field
Ongoing education focusing on analytical methods, outcomes measurement, and computer applications
Previous experience with SAP Business Object Reports (Crystal, Webi), Tableau, or Epic Cogito
Knowledge of Epic/Clarity databases
