Senior Data Analyst
Permanent, Full Time
The Senior Data Analyst will take on a wide variety of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to the following.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Design and Implement new reports / dashboards to meet changing business requirements
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Internal applicants are preferred, and require 1 year of experience with Morneau Shepell in order to be considered.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Operations Analyst
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience in working with Excel Pivots, charts & graphs and advanced excel formulas;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, including Macros and VBA coding for automation (must be able to write complex VBA scripts, and be able to discuss examples)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Able to carry out data validation and quality control checks
Desire to adapt and make changes to improve the process; able to assess and document existing business procedures, and develop recommendations for new methods / procedures
Avaya CMS experience helpful, but not necessary
At least one year of Call Center experience reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) would be an added advantage
