Gather, organize, maintain, analyze and prepare statistical, aggregate, graphical and other reports. This information is to be used for utilization studies, clinical benchmarking, peer review, quality and severity measurements, Joint Commission and CMS data requirements, patient relations; management controls Lean Initiatives and flow processing
Knowledge and Skills
: Bachelor's degree in business, information, management or finance, minimum required, preferred.
Years of experience
: One to two years equivalent experience, minimum required. Three to five years, preferred.
Required Skills and Knowledge
: This position requires a BS degree in Business, Information Management or Finance with 1-3 years of equivalent experience required
Experience in the following software applications is required:
Spreadsheets (Excel, etc.)
Databases (Microsoft Access, etc.)
Word Processing (Word, etc.).
Must present a professional manner, have good verbal/written communication skills; be able to maintain confidentiality of all data. Demonstrate ability to perform queries from relational databases, produce reports from such queries, and
perform basic analyses such as frequency distributions. Ability to manipulate data from large relational
databases using business intelligence tools. Knowledge of Crystal Reports or Business Objects Web Intelligence, and SQL preferred. Skills and experience with statistical process control a plus. Ability to understand and document customer informational requirements, and develop reports to meet such requirements.
Ability to test for quality assurance and respond to customer feedback
