Resource Planning Analyst

Oversees data acquisition and analyses for the College of Arts and Sciences; delivers routine and ad hoc analytical reports via the ASC BuckeyeBox, the ASCReports website and other dashboards to assess College-wide performance, to inform strategic planning, and to identify opportunities; stays current with College- and University-wide business processes and data sources; provides explanatory executive summaries and data visualizations; ensures the integrity and security of data and ASC reports; pursues independent analytical projects to develop new management and decision-making tools for ASC leadership and its units; continues to develop/refine the reporting of pre-graduation survey results of graduating students by collaborating with Student Life; assists in managing access to the various reporting services for the ASC community; represents Arts and Sciences in meetings related to data and data analysis in the university community.

Bachelor’s degree in statistics or an equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge of statistics, business analytics, MS Access tables, queries, macros, reports, database tools, and data visualization, MS Excel pivot tables and analytical functions; experience in designing, developing, presenting, and implementing business intelligence and reporting solutions; knowledge of office practices and procedures in an academic environment; demonstrated strong teamwork and communications skills.
