This position will be a key member of the Firmwide Data Use Team’s effort to centralize firmwide thinking on how data assets should be used to drive better solutions. This role is a mix of consulting (problem solving, client interaction), and project management (designing and implementing new processes, tools, technologies and governance structures).
This role involves substantial cross business interaction.
Own project plans and progress; collect, consolidate and review status and related reporting in an accurate, timely and comprehensive fashion
Manage process for issue escalation, triage and documentation for programs with significant complexity and risk across business and corporate functions
Help define new workstreams / solution opportunities as identified by senior leadership (i.e. take high level ideas, pressure test feasibility, assess for the ideas)
Engage with key partners to assess the feasibility and usefulness of a given solution
Plan and execute implementation of project (day-to-day responsibility, project management)
Develop/ Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to monitor progress and escalate road blocks
Assist with content creation for regular senior management updates. Support detailed documentation of key decisions and follow ups from meetings and conduct follow up with action item owners
3-5 years of experience in project management with progressive responsibilities and a demonstrated ability to align and influence stakeholders
Demonstrated strong ability to analyze problems, communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written)
Undergraduate Degree or higher (Preferably in Business/ Finance/ Economics)
Very strong process orientation and the proven ability to influence and drive change management
Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers; eagerness to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment
Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (required)
Ability to productively work in a matrix management organization
Strong execution focus and attention to detail
Prior experience in financial services industry
Prior experience in consulting or strategy
Working knowledge of risk, compliance, audit and operational management concepts, with the ability to manage the impact of policy and procedural changes and identify and address potential problems
Six Sigma certification
