Principal Director Healthcare Analytics Leader

to join its growing organization. The Practice Leader would be responsible primarily for North America but include some global responsibilities as we grow internationally in healthcare provider and population health expertise.

creates solutions that bring data to life, serving as partners with our clients as they organized, harmonize, and analyze the transactional and digital sources that accompany modern business.

The Principal position is critical to building and fulfilling Cognizant’s reputation of being a trusted partner. The Leader will assemble the right talent, techniques, and relationships to address important business issues for our clients, and will guide overall solutions and platforms to address these business issues.

The

AIM Principal Healthcare Analytics Leader

is responsible for the analytics and business-facing aspects of AIM’s continuum.

Key Responsibilities:
Grow and manage a team of analytics specialists

Build best practices within advanced and digital analytics

Own and create the development plans for new analytics solutions and services on existing Big Data platforms within Cognizant

Managing a profitable revenue growth, including robust new business development

Establish, track, and close new business targets consistently with short and long-term objectives at designated accounts

Develop contact matrix and establish strong relationships with healthcare business CxOs, Chief Analytics Officers (CAO), and Cognizant’s healthcare practice

Discover, develop, and manage strategic relationships with niche analytics solution providers, cultivate new alliances locally and globally, and monitor competitive activity in North America

Identify opportunities to grow our presence and delight our clients at key strategic accounts

Create and maintain CRM (opportunity) data and sales statistics as required

Join AIM Healthcare’s leadership team in practice-level projects as required

Represent AIM and Cognizant in various recruiting, marketing, and outreach events

Basic Qualifications

15+ years of overall IT experience, with a concentration in large-scale practice management in a business solutions and/or technical services environment

Bachelors’ degree in a related field

Ability to manage a portfolio size of $3mm-$4mm +

5- 10 + years of hands on advanced analytics (digital or marketing) and modeling experience

Hands on experience in developing healthcare analytics models and exposure to digital analytics

Functional expertise in healthcare value chain and applicability of analytics in driving growth, competitiveness, profitability, customer centricity, compliance and cost effectiveness is absolutely essential

Experience with Life and Healthcare consulting experience and proven record of growing business for consulting and/or IT services organization

Proven track record of selling large multi-year analytics deals to Life Sciences & Healthcare companies within the US

Thorough understanding of the healthcare eco-system

Ability to collaborate effectively across a large global organization to deliver the right analytics solutions to our healthcare clients

Ability to relate past experience to consult our healthcare clients will be critical for succeeding in this role

Proven track record of developing talent, and ability/willingness to mentor Analysts and other team members

Strong consulting/advisory experience

Ability to travel up to 50% + nationally
