The candidates primary responsibility is to work on IOTG Retail Solution Divisions Responsive Retail Architecture. Today Intel is major player in many islands of technology in the retail store (POS, Digital Signs, Handhelds, Back-office Servers). For brick and mortar retailers to compete with Online merchants (Amazon, Alibaba)they must start connecting the islands of technology and providing actionable inputs to the retail staff. The candidate will be responsible for the technical support and customer enabling for OEM, and ODM, SI and end customers across multiple platforms and technologies on both the Core and Atom product lines, as well as OS and enterprise software. Principle Engineer, will interface with a variety of customer infrastructure set-ups, and be able to navigate the terminology and terrain of a retail environment (e.g. different IOT infrastructure/setups) successfully, on the fly, to assess problems that the Responsive Retail Platform can solve. You will be supporting the customer through concept, prototype, pilots. You also be involved in influencing customer design architecture. This will involve new IOT concepts with Retail customers and new application of IOT technology. Qualifications Experience or background in Machine Learning. Architectural Vision around connecting IOT Devices, Output Devices (POS, Digital Signs, Handhelds) with a cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure). Understanding of various Intel platform ingredients like (hardware, BIOS/Firmware, drivers, Operating System, applications) Candidate must have strong analysis skills to assess and root-cause retails real life problems and how technology could help solve them. SW development or validation experience is a big plus. The successful candidate should possess a Master of Science degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or alternatively a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum five years work experience. Excellent overall understanding of Intel Architectures, new technologies, and strong intel network to get help. Self-driven, ability to multitask effectively, and work independently Customer engagement experience and ability to create customer ready material, including strong technical writing and presentation skills. Exhibit strong influencing and customer orientation skills, with ability to listen, understand and respond professionally to customers, and discuss technical details at multiple depth levels.
