IoT Business Development Leader

Schneider Electric is seeking a high energy Internet of Things (IoT) executive to lead a new global initiative. Reporting to the EVP of Segments and Strategic Accounts within our Global Solutions business, this person will provide technology vision, strategy and leadership globally. The role will work as a technology leader, business partner and business developer with key accounts and account executives across regions and segments. This position will work closely with clients internally and externally
to ensure best practices globally. This role will provide key leadership as the company evolves ahead of the market in the IoT space.
Position Mission:
To transform the Schneider Electric Internet of Things (IoT) story into a competitive advantage both in terms of customer intimacy and offer.
-Push the SE IoT story out to Segments and Strategic Global Accounts
-Use SE IoT legitimacy, identify precisely how IoT can create added value for Strategic Accounts and End Users by solving pain points
-Architect Solutions and integrate them in to the IoT Digital Transformation team road map, and monitor and lead the proper offer creation process
Responsibilities:
Promotion of the Schneider Electric global IoT Story
Articulate to internal and external stakeholders what Industrial IoT is and the value it can create for segments and strategic accounts
Identification of the IoT benefits on concrete segments and application specific areas
Identify with all segment teams in which customer pain points (application specific) could be solved by an IoT solution
Translate offer into end user benefits and values
Get SAE and SA validations, thereby creating scalability within the segments
Describe the solution (use case, high level architecture, specs, etc.,)
Integration in SE offer portfolio
Deliver complete business case (offer description, end-user value creation, business opportunities, validation of go-to-market)
Integration of requests into the IoT Digital transformation team road map
Be complete interface between segment teams and leaders (internal client) and the IoT Digital transformation teams (internal supplier)
Define with the segment teams the go to market strategy
Deliverables:
Promotion of the Schneider Electric IoT Story
Create an IoT story adapted to each segment
Evangelize each segment team and Strategic Account Executives
Define and implement a process to ensure that there be uniform messaging to clients and key strategic accounts
Identification of the IoT benefits on concrete segments and application specific cases
Create data round segment application specific pain points which could be solved by IoT-type solutions architecture
Validate solutions based on value add to end user and ease of development
Create a “validation process” with Strategic Account Executives and Strategic Accounts
Integration of Schneider Electric Offer Portfolio
Provide qualified outputs toward the Technology Organization within Schneider Electric
Monitor deliverables to impact strategic accounts and internal customers
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ten (10) years’ total experience as an IoT professional with at least three years in a senior management role or as Vice President of IiT function
·
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university, Master’s Degree preferred
·
Strong competencies in strategy development, IoT Infrastructure management and architecture, application development and integration, network and voice engineering, project management, internal/external solution development
·
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Able to present complex problems in simple, business-oriented terms for review with senior executives

Experience in managing external partners, providers and vendors, including negotiations and contracts for outsourced managed services
·
Demonstrated leader with ability to grow and develop strong IoT teams, drive change and transformation and drives accountability
·
Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced, dynamic business environment
