How you will help
Your contribution begins with a deep operational understanding of healthcare IT standards such as HL7 HQMF, HL7 CDA-based standards and FHIR that enables you to explore, manage and ingest de-identified patient data from across our data provider ecosystem. Working with our product and data science teams, you will also own and be responsible for developing key components of our overall system that enables our customers to develop new insights for their own businesses.
You’ll use the best tools for the job, whether modern and revolutionary or time tested and proven, to deliver elegant, scalable solutions that meet business and technical needs. Your team will support you and you the same. Peer review of solutions and implementations is expected. You will play an integral part in building the foundation of everything to come.
What you will do
Develop software to facilitate rapid ETL of large and varied healthcare data sets
Solve problems related to the real-time discovery of large healthcare data
Leverage your healthcare IT experience to build the infrastructure that allows our platform to communicate with other healthcare data systems using various industry standards
Work with a team of developers to execute strategies, implement solutions and produce peer reviewed quality software
Solve complex data work flow problems related to the interactions of numerous data providers with a varied set of requirements and needs.
You have worked extensively with EMR, EHR, claims, and pharmacy data and are fluent in healthcare IT standards
You are very comfortable on a Linux command line
SQL, you know it, write smart queries, it’s no big deal
You are data driven, testing and measuring as much as you can
You have implemented software using any of the following specifications: HL7 HQMF, HL7 CDA-based standards, and FHIR
You have experience writing scalable applications on distributed architectures Desired skills and experience
Working knowledge of Healthcare IT standards such as HL7 HQMF, HL7 CDA-based standards, and FHIR
Expertise in ETL of EMR, EHR, claims, and pharmacy data
3+ years of SQL and Linux experience
Experience with data munging and analytics
