Job Scope

The Enterprise Architect works with business and IT stakeholders to define a future-state vision in terms of requirements, principles and models. The EA also works to effectively position the organization to deliver its future-state vision, by coordinating the analysis of required changes in business functions and processes, information and technology capabilities, and solutions. The EA aligns IT investments with business strategies, while reducing risk and delivering higher-quality and adaptive solutions.

This position reports to the Global Head of Architecture/ Chief Architect.

Main Responsibilities
·
Create an MDM vision and a strategy that closely aligns with the organization's business vision.

·
Lead the Master Data Management strategy for all domains (Customer, Vendor, Product etc.) throughout the MDM lifecycle – strategize, evaluate, execute and review.

·
Gain high-level business sponsorship for the MDM program, and build strong stakeholder support.

·
Work closely with the Decisions Solutions and MBS teams in implementing the strategy and building the organization's MDM capabilities in phases, delivering value at every stage.

·
Collaborate with the Information Architects on the MDM program as part of a wider enterprise information management (EIM) strategy.

·
Align and gain enterprise-wide agreement on commonly reused master data domains, entities and attributes.

·
Manage master data governance as part of corporate and IT governance processes. Develop a decision rights framework using a checks-and-balances approach to identify the required MDM governance roles, authorities and stewardship responsibilities.

·
Makes decisions on key technology purchases to align IT investments with business strategies, while reducing risk and delivering adaptive solutions (focus on Digital).

·
Leads technology products evaluation processes and Architecture Review Board governance for project solutions.

·
Defines future state vision and creates roadmaps, including technology lifecycle management.

·
Proven ability to lead and influence senior leadership including C-Suite. Exude a high level of business presence.

·
Leads, builds and implements global enterprise-wide reusable patterns, practices.

·
Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving appropriate instruction and providing leadership.

Relationships
·
Internal: C-level leadership, all business and IS leadership, Key member of IS Tower leadership team

·
External: Strategic vendors & partners, Industry forums

Dimensions / Scope Data
·
Ability to manage Solution Architects and Consultants globally.

·
Guides and governs technology standards and application across global IS & BPE

·
Manage budgets between $550k to 1M

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
·
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is preferred.

·
SAP Expertise Required

·
Serves as an expert in the MDM strategy and architecture. Must have implemented Master Data tools and technologies.

·
Minimum 7
years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations) in a multitier environment. 4+ years’ experience in overall SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, deploy) or similar.

·
Lead the Master Data Management strategy for all domains (Customer, Vendor, Product etc.) throughout the MDM lifecycle – strategize, evaluate, execute and review.

·
10% travel needed
