Job Scope

The Enterprise Architect works with business and IT stakeholders to define a future-state vision in terms of requirements, principles and models. The EA also works to effectively position the organization to deliver its future-state vision, by coordinating the analysis of required changes in business functions and processes, information and technology capabilities, and solutions. The EA aligns IT investments with business strategies, while reducing risk and delivering higher-quality and adaptive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Assess the enterprise's needs, understand current state application and technology integration challenges and drive global integration strategies to combine cloud and on-premises deployment models.


Drive a hybrid integration platform strategy, spanning deployment models, diverse endpoints, integration domains and constituent users of integration technology.


Build out foundational integration capability strategies that not only enable the organization to rapidly integrate, but also to quickly disintegrate from suppliers, customers etc. and substitute, with minimal disruption, other more innovative offerings.


Assist in the creation of a two-speed (bimodal) integration strategy, where slowly evolving, “run the business” IT systems (Mode 1) need to coexist and interoperate with fast-changing and innovative “transform the business” (Mode 2) initiatives.


Assist in the creation of Digital Supply Chain and integration of the new world of “smart things” and the data they produce with back-end business processes, data and analytical environments.


Key consultant to senior leadership and Solution Architects on IT architecture and long term systems strategies.


Makes decisions on key technology purchases to align IT investments with business strategies, while reducing risk and delivering adaptive solutions (focus on Integration).


Leads technology products evaluation processes and Architecture Review Board governance for project solutions.


Defines future state vision and creates roadmaps, including technology lifecycle management.


Critical member of the COE’s leadership team. Proven ability to lead and influence senior leadership including C-Suite. Exude a high level of business presence.


Leads, builds and implements global enterprise-wide reusable patterns, practices. Create Integration patterns and principles, define and enforce governance and disseminate best practices


Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving appropriate instruction and providing leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
·
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, systems analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is preferred. 10% travel needed.

Min 7 years of implementation experience with ESB /API Management/ iPaaS platforms is necessary. Experience with technologies such as Akamai, and open source integration frameworks are needed.

·
Expertise with REST APIs as well as SOAP for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) is required. Experience with SAP integration technologies is needed. Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture necessary. working with marketing, content management, sales and CRM landscape. Experience with SAP platform is preferred. • Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture.

Demonstrates expertise in integration platforms, digital, B2B, B2C, cloud, mobile and IoT integration technologies. Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of social media, mobile, and web technologies.
