This challenging position offers an opportunity to an experienced wireless ASIC design and verification manager to participate in the development of chipsets for current and next generation wireless standards. He is responsible for project team management and the execution of the design development, verification and system IC debugging. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage an ASIC design team, or being project lead to manage project teams located at different offices Composing function/logic specification from datasheet or industry standard. Participate in system design phases of new products, attending design reviews. Listing test item from function/logic specification; Making test plan according test item. Composing testcase/testcode based on test plan. Logic implementation based on function/logic specification. Write application software for testing/debugging in laboratory. Design verification in FPGA hardware and evaluation hardware boards for final chips. Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to acquire new skills and knowledge.
Minimum skills and experience:
MSEE, 12+ years hands-on experiences of the ASIC design & verification and/or integration of wireless products
At least 7+ years of project design team management
Candidate should have 8+ years of experience with the following:
Experience in Verilog/VHDL RTL design.
Experience in wireless design & verification in 28nm or advance process technology
Knowledge of IoT, CDMA products
Knowledge of ARM and Teaklite subsystem designs
Knowledge of UVM, OVM, VMM
Knowledge of DFT, BSD and memory BIST.
Knowledge of Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor EDA tools.
Knowledge of Xilinx or Altera FPGA.C++/perl/TCL programming skill
Preferred skills and experience:
Direct experience as a system engineer integrating hardware, firmware, and software highly desirable
Knowledge of wireless communication standards highly desirable Inside this Business Group
