Reporting to the VP of Demand Generation, this role is responsible for driving engagement and demand for the ThingWorx IoT platform. The ThingWorx platform is a SaaS offering that enables rapid development and deployment of solutions that enable discrete manufacturers to build smart, connected products and factories for the Industrial Internet of Things. The person in this role will create and manage demand generation for ThingWorx into ISG’s core markets. Marketing of the ThingWorx platform will include a number of personas from technology decision makers to software developers.


•Create, execute and manage the demand generation program for ThingWorx including setting and achieving lead and sales pipeline goals, aligned to the buyer’s journey framework, based on key messages and offers.

•Work with product, marketing and sales leaders to align campaign themes to go-to-market strategy for targeted markets on a quarterly basis.

•Manage the demand gen budget, select targets, determine the tactic mix, design offers and calls to action, set individual program goals and measurement criteria.

•Work with marketing operations team to ensure that inbound traffic can be converted into known leads through a best-in-class online experience, using marketing automation to drive ongoing nurture and conversion.

•Implement testing strategies to enhance the demand creation process, including response and conversion rates.

•Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length.

•Work with the ISG field marketing team to develop and execute demand programs that are executed in each major geography (NAR, EMEA, Asia-Pacific)

Experience and Skills:

•6+ years of B2B demand creation experience. 3+ digital/inbound marketing, including web and content marketing, freemium offers, social media demand seeding and SEO/SEM experience a plus.

•2+ years’ experience with low-touch online demand generation. Experience with low-touch demand gen to software developers is a big plus.

•Proven understanding, development and use of buyer persona and buyer’s journey frameworks to develop campaigns that convert at each stage of the funnel.

•Marketing automation, sales force automation, and associated reporting experience required.

•Building and managing a shared demand waterfall with Sales, with a proven track record of supporting Sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets.

•Experience creating and implementing proven successful seeding, demand creation, lead nurturing and pipeline acceleration programs.

•Team player with strong people management and cross-functional project leadership skills.

•Metrics driven with demonstrated analytical skills, passionate about outcomes and results.
