We are now looking for a Deep Learning Start Up Business Development
Deep learning is making a major impact across research and industry, including the largest internet companies and the most exciting startups.
This business development role is for an experienced business manager who believes that deep learning, data science, and artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform every industry. Business development managers must be passionate about creating and executing partnership strategies with startup companies in an effort to: Build new markets, develop NVIDIA technology offering and achieve market leadership.
This position will be responsible for developing NVIDIA’s startup ecosystem by executing and evolving the Inception Partner Program. This includes enabling Startups to successfully use NVIDIA technology, facilitate proof of concept or product design, market and sell their solutions through our global network.
This individual will work closely with a sizable cross functional team within NVIDIA, including Solutions Architects, Product Management, Engineering, HW & SW Architecture, Sales and Marketing teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Directly manage and engage Inception startup portfolio
Drive the global strategy with geography leads namely Europe, China and Japan
Engage startup partners to develop a deep understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical and business needs
Quantify the partnership opportunity, craft a strategy, define initiatives and outcomes, and orchestrate resources to achieve those outcomes. Must have the ability to analyze and segment market opportunities and develop strategic business plans around them
Strategically partner with top portfolio companies to develop them into ISV partners targeting our computing platform.
Be main central point for ecosystem connection of Startups, VCs, Incubators, Accelerators, Fortune 1000
Lead a virtual team of technical, business, and marketing resources across NVIDIA and our business partners to drive mutual success
Partner with sales organization to drive demand of our platform
Partner with startups to generate business with enterprise end customers in major industries, including internet, medical, federal, media & entertainment, financial services and retail/etail.
Watch for and develop emerging use cases to help cultivate new industries (e.g. retail/e-tail, IoT, cybersecurity, finance, etc.)
Leverage success to feed community marketing & business development. Communicate and execute success stories working with campaign, corporate, & partner marketing teams
Attending ecosystem events to recruit and engage the startup ecosystem
Create partner case studies
What we need to see:
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Engineering
Passion for ecosystem development
Strong account management experience
Excellent communication skills are an essential requirement. Candidates must work comfortably across all major internal functional areas (engineering, sales, marketing, executives), as well as external partners, customers, and content developers
Machine learning and artificial intelligence experience preferred
