Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:
Partner with manufacturing sites and functions globally in the generation of business insights and relevant and actionable actions from the new big-data analytics platform created within the Nutrition business’s (CPG) supply-chain organization. The person in this role will work closely with site personnel in reviewing yield performance from the established dashboard and ultimately delivering cost improvement or risk mitigation projects that improve the performance of the site.
This position will report into the supply-chain headquarters in the greater Chicago. This role will be based in the greater Chicago area and responsible driving analytic adoption, insight and sustainability across the global network.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to generate deeper level of insights beyond the dashboard Provide improvement recommendations independently and with the local team and site’s operations leadership Coordinate with divisional functions to gain alignment on opportunities and assist driving the change Identify areas of potential replication across the global network and communicate those through the established channels Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) from changes made to ensure impact and sustainability Create predictive analytics capabilities and methods, and provide recommendations for proactive actions Propose business process changes and new equipment that improve the quality of information being collected and reflected Drive improvements on the big-data analytics platform
Perform other work related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Data Analytics or Supply-Chain management highly preferred) strong consideration for Masters or PHd
Business management experience in a CPG, Medical Diagnostic or Medical Device industry desired
Supply-chain experience preferred
Professional experience analyzing data and generating relevant and actionable insights
Able to travel domestically and internationally (25% / as needed).
Proven history of working in a matrix environment and ability to influence organizations, peers and leadership to drive to the target desired outcome
Strong business acumen
Accountability / Scope/Budget:
This position operates with direction from the Program Manager of Analytics and is expected to drive initiatives that are valued in multiple millions of dollars per year.
