The Architecture & Delivery Services (ADS) organization within CTR is looking for a Senior Applications Architect. The role is similar to an Enterprise Architect role but scoped to business functions within CTR. This role requires broad technology skills and ability to create common architecture capabilities across a portfolio of related applications. This individual will be responsible for contributing to the evolution of CTR Architecture policy and strategy. The position will work closely with CTR Chief Architect and other members of the CTR Core Architecture team, infrastructure architecture, and senior development resources. Communication, presentation, written skills and ability to influence senior management is important to this role. Knowledge & experience with architecture methodologies is a plus.
CTR ADS is looking to fill a Data Information Architect Lead. As a Data / Information Architect in Corporate Technology & Risk you will be expected to help define an overarching information strategy and architecture that will describe and enable effective management and analysis of its information assets in the context of various complex and dynamic business, technology, and regulatory goals of the enterprise. This includes but is not limited to risk management, controls, compliance, HR, and other dimensions. Specific areas of focus include information requirements and processes for identity & access management; data architecture concepts, roadmaps and information models supporting KYC, AML, Client Onboarding and Document Management, Case Management, Fraud Detection, Regulatory Reporting, Trade and Market Surveillance, Compliance, Legal Entity Management, Data Quality, Unstructured Data Management, metadata management, and data analytics/visualization.
Define/manage detail project plans, milestones; manage deliverables, understand financial/budgetary impact of technical decisions.
Effectively communicate with business and technology partners, peers and senior management.
Work with multiple stakeholders to establish trusted partnerships and drive success.
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
Defining relevant standards, processes, and best practices and incrementally deploying them within application areas in a controlled, evolutionary way that can serve as basis for all current and future data-related projects within CTR
5+ years of experience with information modeling, information visualization, data modeling, data management technologies, data integration, data sourcing, data analytics, data warehousing, metadata, semantics and ontologies
Familiarity with modern data management concepts including Big Data stack, NoSQL, in-memory DBMS and data caching; graph databases, RDF/triple stores, and Wiki-based solutions
Familiarity and experience in data protection and information security
Strong understanding of large scale system, information and technology architectures, including application integration patterns, messaging, service-oriented architecture, information models, and data lineage
Demonstrated ability to work individually and as a part of the team in a collaborative manner
Demonstrated ability to deliver results under demanding timelines to real-world business problems
Willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies, applications and grow with team
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is highly preferred
Strong writing and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or Graduate degree in information sciences, computer sciences, or system design
BS/BA degree from an accredited educational institution, graduate or post-graduate degree a plus
