Q2 is seeking a Data Consultant to support our cutting edge targeting and analytics platform and to interpret data and communicate trends to our financial institutions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, a knack for complex problem solving, and prior experience consulting with customers on marketing analytics. Now, we may be a little biased, but we think this is a very cool role with one of the most exciting product teams at one of the fastest growing Fintech companies in Austin.

You’ll get first-hand experience working on the cutting edge of “Big Data” technology and exposure to cutting – edge design methodology in our development process. You will be a key part of a high-profile project in developing a system that will help improve people’s financial lives , so be prepared to be a big contributor . You will sit with a team of developers, designers, and product owner s who aim to understand how we can better serve our customers. To do so, you’ll need to be logical and you’ll need to be curious. Also, we are crazy busy, so you’ll be expected to see tasks through in an organized, self-sufficient manner. If you can do all that, and still be friendly and positiv e, you’ll fit right in.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Act as liaison between our data science / product teams and our financial institution customers Resolve customer data escalations through research and analysis of their specific data trends Establish bench marking statistics for customers to compare their product adoption results across peer groups Test and evaluate key product enhancements prior to release to ensure they deliver expected results for our customers Communicate updates and best practices for the platfo rm to our cu stomers through webinars and other messaging channels Assist in training internal groups on key functional aspects of future product enhancements Support the gathering and analysis of market research supp orting product feature and function recommendations

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE :
B.S. or B.A in Engineering, Math, Business, Architecture, Communications or related field Minimum 5 years in project management , sales, financial services, or web analytics experience is preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable Strong teamwork, organization and problem resolutions skills Programming, database, excel and presentation skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results
