Data Analytics Manager



The Data Analytics Manager will coordinate with our Consumer Banking centralized testing team and business line risk managers to develop and support moderate to complex automation and analytical solutions, including continuous monitoring efforts, to facilitate efficient and comprehensive control testing activities across Consumer Banking. Key responsibilities include understanding our control and testing activities, analyzing large data sets, reviewing programming code, coding and re-performing business controls, assessing data quality, and documenting testing results. The incumbent also will be involved in adhoc analysis and reporting for special projects. The candidate will interact with application and data experts to understand the data that represents the operations of the consumer banking functions.


  • 5+ years financial industry experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of testing and data analytics.
  • Medium level of
    operational knowledge of risk management, testing, data management, data
    analytics, data architectures, file structures and query utilities.
  • Solid knowledge of
    tools such as Hyperion, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), MS Access, ACL or
    IDEA, as well as visual analytics packages like Spotfire or Tableau.
  • A high level of
    accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities
    is required.
  • Is capable of writing
    ACL, SQL and SAS code and operational knowledge of other programming and
    scripting languages like C++, Perl, visual basic, etc.
  • Strong
    communication; excellent written and verbal
  • Strong analytical
  • Excellent
    interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of regulatory com pliance
    requirements and risk management principles

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor degree,
    preferably with a major in Information Technology, or an advanced degree in a
    related field

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
