State Street is searching for a strong Data Analyst/Developer to join the newly formed Investor Services Americas (ISA) Data Factory team. The data analyst/developer will provide hands-on contributions to the design and build-out of the ISA Data Factory repository by implementing data-driven solutions to grow and strengthen the business. This role will support data quality processes across all ISA Data Factory subject areas.
Be an expert of the ISA Data Factory subject areas.
Provide direction and solutions to the business and technology users within the ISA Data Factory environment.
Help Product Owner support product backlog by closely working with the business to identify critical needs, areas of improvements and data-driven solutions.
Work on implementation of data-driven solutions.
Address data quality issues within the ISA Data Factory.
Identify and provide hands-on data solutions to meet business needs.
Work closely with the off-shore teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related required; financial services experience a plus.
At least 3 years of data analysis/development experience.
Databases/Data Modeling/Data Warehousing/BI Tools experience.
Oracle, Exadata experience.
Exceptional data analysis and SQL experience.
Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
Familiar with the latest technology trends and concepts (open source, cloud, dev ops, Hadoop, etc.).
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills; solid written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and lead through influence across a complex global organization to drive direction.
