The Information Technology Group at Keene State College invites applications for a Data Analyst to support operations regarding the Student Information System ( ERP ), Colleague.
The Information Technology Group is a service-oriented team providing a range of technology services and technical support to the Keene State campus. Keene State College is primarily a Windows environment with some key systems running Linux. The majority of enterprise servers operate in a VMware virtualized environment on Dell hardware. For database environments, we use a combination of SQL , Unidata and Oracle.
Under the direction and guidance of the Colleague and Reporting Services Manager, the Data Analyst will serve a critical role in providing day to day operational support for Keene State’s Student Information System and related systems. Keene State’s student information ecosystem is based on Ellucian’s Colleague suite of products, plus a reporting environment using the Business Objects platform and WebI. The successful candidate will be part of a team of 25 full-time technology staff and will work primarily with two other staff members to provide operational support for the Colleague-related systems.
The Colleague database platform is Unidata within a Windows server environment. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of operational data management tasks to leverage and increase backend system efficiencies and support campus stakeholders. This position will also be responsible for interacting with the Identity Management (IdM) system to provide role-based account provisioning and de-provisioning activities for Colleague-related systems, perform quality control for patching procedures, oversee date integrity procedures, create reporting objects and operational reports, manage feeds delivered to other campus departments systems and Department of Education, act as technical resource for Colleague projects, respond to support tickets, coordinate Colleague training schedule and provide secondary and cross-coverage for Colleague performed within central IT Colleague team.

A Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in information technology field, Associate’s and six years, or combination of education and experience equal to eight years.
In the written application process, applicants must demonstrate previous experience in working with databases, experience in managing database structures and experience in creating reports.
Additionally applicants must demonstrate technical acumen with increasingly complex responsibilities, contributions on a project team, ability to produce positive results by taking an initiative, proactive communication and collaboration skills and strong organizational and documentation skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the following areas: higher education environment; Student Information System/Alumni system; ERP system, Unidata database; database conversion projects; enterprise reporting tools.

Salary range: $47,920-$54,370, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off.
