Collects and analyzes agency statistics and information; prepares and/or analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed plans, programs and projects for their ability to meet agency objectives.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Working Conditions: May work shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience: Equivalent to Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field and one (1) year of full-time professional data analysis experience.
Licensing and Certification: Must possess and maintain a valid Class C Driver's License at the time of appointment.
Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon the results of a comprehensive education/experience background investigation and a criminal history record check.
The Scoring: Your score will be determined by a training and experience rating of the supplemental assessment. You will receive a score of 50 points for meeting the minimum qualification requirements listed on your application. After these requirements are met, you will receive up to an additional 50 points as outlined on the supplemental assessment questions.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Performs analysis and evaluation of existing or proposed agency services to include: plans, programs, projects and policies. Utilizes databases of information to create agency reports; assures integrity of data; utilizes software programs for retrieval of historical data, requests for information, summary reports and ad hoc analyses. Composes reports and presentations as required for evaluation of agency operational functions. Discusses Business Intelligence needs or information with external and internal customers. Identifies and documents agency data problems, needs, and issues. Research and respond to customer service complaints. Operates a variety of office equipment, to include computers and associated software. Provides information and assistance to internal and external customers as required. Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.
