The Data Analyst reports directly to the Director of Operations and is an integral part of the PureCars Operations team. The main responsibilities include building and improving data collection, accuracy, reporting across the organization to ultimately improve customer experience and internal business processes.
Works across major departments and project teams to collect and determine reporting needs
Builds reports and dashboards that answer key business questions and provide operational insight
Helps execute centralized reporting across all divisions and enforce integrity of data
Analyzes trends, patterns and irregularities in reporting that drive operational decision making
Builds and maintain a deep awareness of where data lives and how it is organized
Advises on improvements to data collection and structure as the company continues to grow
Supports teammates with their projects and provide assistance where needed
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a data/business analyst or equivalent
Experience compiling data from multiple sources and building KPI reports
Ability to collect detailed reporting requirements from internal stakeholders
Great analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail
Willingness to adapt to a fast-pace and changing business environment
Advanced Excel skills required — including vlookups, pivot tables and formulas
Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM databases, highly desired
Basic understanding of SQL and writing report scripts, highly desired
Google AdWords/Analytics experience or certification, a plus
Automotive industry experience, a plus
Bachelor’s degree required
