What Business Metrics/Analytics contributes to Cardinal Health

Business Metrics/Analytics is responsible for developing, quantifying and evaluating the transformation of internal and external information into business intelligence to support the strategic objectives of the sales organization and drive operational excellence. Includes data and technology management (data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting.)

Accountabilities

Business Analyst

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Project Manager

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage relationships with internal teams including sales, finance, ops etc.
  • Able to present and communicate data
  • Can understand complex technical projects

Time Breakout

  • Creating new Data Workflows in Alteryx = 30%
  • Executing routine data reporting = 15%
  • Planning, executing and managing projects = 40%
  • Special projects and one-offs = 15%

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5-10 years' related experience (project management and business analysis)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access; Alteryx experience highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
