Johnson Controls invites you to apply for a position in our internship program, based at JCI Milwaukee, WI. Our internship program is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives that are consistent with your career goals and current level of education

Works under the general direction of the Global Business Intelligence and Analytics team in analyzing and transforming data to deliver insights to our global business units. Projects include:

  • Customer Intelligence: Using data from multiple CRM systems globally, systematically cleanse and transform data to provide a single view of a customer and their transactional history. Leverage this insight to identify opportunities for business growth by region of the world, country, and local markets
  • Predictive analytics: Taking historical transactional data and external sources of market and global economic information, create models that predict business results into the future at aggregate national levels and by local markets.
  • Financial analytics: Leveraging various sources of transactional information, identify opportunities to reduce cost or increase price in order to expand margins for the business in each of our global regions
  • Design data solutions in collaboration with HQ and field stakeholders
  • Become proficient in data visualization software and best practices. Software will include Microsoft Power BI and Tableau Software
  • Experience with databases (MS Access, MS SQL, Oracle, or others) is preferred

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Sophomore or Junior level student preferred
  • Ability to work full-time during the summer
  • Experience with databases (MS Access, MS SQL, Oracle, or others) is preferred
