**Description**

The **Logistics Business Analyst** supports Midstream Operations and is responsible for tracking and reporting the monthly operational volumes for pipeline and terminal assets for Phillips 66 Pipeline, Phillips 66 Partners (MLP) and JV systems. This position serves as an expert resource regarding operational volumes and provides a strong focus on building partnerships to effectively collaborate with other functional areas to leverage knowledge, data and information. Other responsibilities include creating process efficiencies in recurring operational reports and executing the development of monthly reports and metrics and supporting the setup of new utility accounts with the Energy Management SME. The role specializes in reporting and analysis of performance versus operational objectives.

**Responsibilities may include** :
+ Compiling monthly operating volumes for pipeline and terminal assets, and submitting monthly operating volumes and variance to budgeted volumes to key stakeholders

+ Tracking the monthly Lost Profit Opportunities

+ Building tools and automating processes to allow more focus on analytics versus data gathering

+ Leveraging data integration for actuals and budgeted volumes with key business tools, systems and initiatives; including the TRAC66 system, DDO (Data Driven Operations) initiative, TCIS (Transportation Crude Information System), Excel modeling spreadsheets, and the SAP system

+ Interfacing with individuals across the value chain including, Refining, Commercial, Business Development, F&PA, Midstream Field Operations, Scheduling and Logistics

+ Producing volumetric reports and analyses in response to Business Development, Finance, Legal or other specialized requests including customer or operations performance

+ Actively participating in ad-hoc assignments, and aiding in complex project work involving report automations, and collaborating with other functional areas on volumetric reporting initiatives

+ Ensuring compliance with FERC and ICA regulations for protecting shipper confidential information

+ Setting up new utility accounts in business systems (SAP, Ecova, and Resource Advisor) and administrating the utility contract approval workflow in LiveLink and resolving setup issues

**Qualifications**

**Basic/Required** :
+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ 3 or more years of experience analyzing and interpreting data, trends, and researching variance drivers

+ 3 or more years of experience with data management including reporting in Excel, Access, or other related database platforms

+ Intermediate level of proficiency with using data analysis and modeling in Excel or related platforms

+ Willing and able to travel up to 10% within each calendar year

**Preferred** :
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant quantitative program

+ Advanced level of proficiency with using data analysis and modeling in Excel, Access or related platform

+ Advanced level of proficiency with Business Objects, Excel Integration of Data Sources, Common Data Layer (CDL) and other business data systems

+ 3 or more years of experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry with knowledge of Scheduling, Operations, Logistics, or Volumetric Accounting
