Soteria is looking for a Data Scientist that will be building the next generation of incident and event management platforms. This platform will help our clients interact and react in near real-time to threats within their network by leveraging predictive models, experimental technologies, and cutting edge research. We’re a fast Agile development shop looking for independent self driven Scientists with a yearning to excel at everything they do.
Develop predictive security models able to adjust to real time changes within the environment
Develop and implement effective scalable solutions able to transcend hosted environment (Bare metal, Virtualize, Cloud based)
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and most importantly the consulting services team to solve unique user questions Where you began
Knowledge and skills in computer science, software, engineering, statistics, applied math, or related fields
Experience creating and integrating effective software in a team environment
Experience with at least one fast production programming language (i.e. Go) and one or more languages commonly used for data analysis (i.e. R, Python, Julia)
Background in machine learning, conceptual modeling, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing.
Experience with one or more big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Cassandra, HBase, CockroachDB, Hive, Spark Your 12 Month Outlook
You will be a self-driven member of a team of scientists and developers, bridging current technologies with the often buggy cutting edge
You will be learning about and experimenting with emerging data technologies and languages
You will have taken a minimum of 3 weeks of rest and relaxation!
You will be planning out your next 10 years as a Senior Member of the Soteria Family
