In this role as a Pharmacy Analytics Consultant, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to both the Maximize Your Benefit (MYB) and other groups within Humana Pharmacy Solutions. This role will provide these areas with accurate and timely analysis, as well as regular and ad-hoc reporting.

Responsibilities will include

Generating and maintaining metrics dashboards used to support the MYB program for both Humana Inc., and Humana Pharmacy Solutions.

Generating tracking reports to track spend and utilization of targeted drugs.

Performing deep-dive analysis and answer questions around metric variances.

Communicating high level summary results to business owners and leadership.

Developing and improving processes and documentation to support best practices.

Performing ad-hoc analysis on an as-needed basis.

Standard automation as well is open-ended process innovation.

Qualifications

ole Essentials

Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with data extraction and manipulation.

Moderate to advanced technical abilities in SQL, SAS or a comparable programming language.

Solid base of MS Excel abilities, including formula logic and summary report design.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with customers.

Candidates should have the ability to work on multiple projects with occasionally tight deadlines.

Candidates should also possess the ability to take initiative, work independently, and exercise appropriate business judgment.

Role Desirables

Masters’ degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.

Prior healthcare industry experience in a clinical, pharmacy, or related setting.

Experience manipulating large, complex data sets.

Prior experience in data mining or reporting visualizations.
