Infoscitex, a DCS company, has an opportunity for a computer engineer to join our research team at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). We are seeking an innovative and creative computer engineer who would enjoy the challenge of working on next generation

systems, turning vision into reality. Working within a research lab environment, you will support development activities toward aircrew physiology and cognition research, aviation mishap prevention, and human performance optimization.

Essential Job Functions:
Develop and integrate advanced intelligent agent technologies and algorithms.

Design algorithms focusing on applied machine learning and human computer interaction. Implement GUI concepts and debug and test C#, Java and C++ code.

Perform real-time data acquisition and machine learning or machine intelligence algorithms (e.g., design trees, artificial neural networks, complexity models, and dynamic Bayesian networks).

Design and verify human computer interfaces including: GUI design and analysis, user centered design principles, data structures, and machine learning algorithms.

Coordinate with subject matter experts to make informed decisions about Biometric data relevance and its impact to system design parameters.

Create research proposals and Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols for team applications, perform human subject research and analyze data. Intermittent CONUS travel may be required.

Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: NAC.

MS in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.

At least 6 years of related experience.

Expertise using Matlab, Python, or R, as well as languages including C/C++/C# and JavaScript.

Background and experience with development of intelligent agent technology and machine learning.

Excellent English communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver both verbal and written presentations on research and development plans, project status, technical issues and results.

Ability to communicate complex algorithms in a clear and concise manner to all levels of personnel.

Ability to travel, as needed.

Desired Skills: PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Knowledge of signal-processing theory and application, human physiology and performance, programming languages including IPL and Lisp, and experience with CUDA, OpenNN, and SAS.

Experience in developing software for mobile computing devices.
